This is a Flash image viewer I developed a few years back. It is compatible with Flash players 6 and later. It works via a combination of Flash ActionScript and a couple PHP scripts. The great thing about it is that anyone can use it simply dragging a folder of images up to a specified directory on the host server. In the case below, it is a directory named "albums". Every time the page loads, the PHP scripts count the folders in the "albums" directory, gets the names of the folders, counts the number of images in every directory and gets the names of the filenames of the images. This data is then passed to the Flash script which processes it, arrays the thumbnails based on the number of files in each directory and dynamically generates a button for each directory (album) with the name of the directory on the button. In this case the two folders of images in the "albums" directory are "Hoover Dam" and "Wildlife World Zoo".

The image viewer is easily customizable for any Web application simply by modifying a few lines of code and moving some of the elements around on the "stage".
